PG&E will take the lead in recruiting employee volunteers to work at Habitat job sites. Affiliates will provide survey answers and waivers that will help populate an internal PG&E volunteer portal where volunteers will sign up for various opportunities offered.

Grantee affiliates will host their events between June 1 and 30, 2026.
Executed MOU’s Due to Habitat CA 2026
Memorandums of Understanding (MOU’s) are due back to Habitat California on March 16, 2026. This is also the deadline for confirmations of specific event dates, locations, and activity details.
MOU’s Distributed 2026
Memorandums of Understanding (MOU’s) will be distributed to Grantees on March 5, 2026.
Grant Awards Announced 2026
Grant awardees will be notified on February 26, 2026. All applicants will be contacted regardless of whether they are awarded funding.
Applications Distributed 2026
Affiliates will be sent a full grant application package on January 26, 2026.

Habitat CA Delivers Branding + Promotional Toolkit to Affiliates
Habitat CA will prepare a toolkit for affiliates to use as you promote your events that will include templates and copy/paste content and graphics for press releases, newsletter articles, social media posts, and more!

Qualifying affiliates that submitted Intent to Apply Forms will be sent a full grant application package. All affiliates that submitted a form will receive a response, regardless of whether they are invited to apply.
